E. & H. T. Anthony, New York backmark with canceled Revenue stamp, the lower front margin has manuscript identification. Buchanan made his mark as the commanding officer of the ironclad C.S.S. Virginia in her epic duel with the U. S. S. Monitor on March 8-9, 1862. Very good condition.
