Three “Woven in Silk by Thomas Stevens” matted images, each 7” x 3” to larger matt, to includeWindsor Castle, Kenilworth Castle, and Houses of Parliment”. Color remains brillianr, image sharp, c1860, fine. Thomas Stevens (1828–1888) was a 19th-century weaver from Coventry, famous for his invention of the stevengraph, a woven silk picture.
